League Mission Statement
The Solid State Summer Prep League (SSPL) is to provide a premier competitive platform for U19 hockey players in Central Massachusetts. Our goal is to foster the growth and development of elite players while exposing them to some of the region’s top coaches and scouts. Through this experience, players will gain invaluable insights, helping them navigate the next steps in their hockey journey.
The SSPL emphasizes not only skill development but also leadership, teamwork, and athletic discipline. We are committed to promoting core values such as fitness, strength, nutrition, and mental toughness, preparing athletes for success both on and off the ice.

Solid State Prep League – 2026 Combine Information
The Solid State Prep League enters its second summer as an invite-only, high-tempo 4v4 development league for competitive players looking to elevate their game. This year marks our first-ever pre season combine, giving players the opportunity to showcase their skills directly in front of our staff.
LOCATION: Horgan Arena - 403 Oxford St N, Auburn, MA 01501
DATES: Choose either
April 13 (Monday)
April 14 (Tuesday)
April 16 (Thursday) Final Day - INVITE ONLY
TIME: 7:00PM - 7:50PM
AGES: 2010-2007 Birth Years ONLY.
COST: $30
NOTES: Players may register for either April 13 or April 14, depending on what works best with their schedule
After the first two nights, players will be notified if they have been selected to advance to the April 16 final day of the combine. THIS advancement does NOT guarantee a invite to the SSPL.
After April 16th, players will be notified of invites to MAIN CAMP and the SSPL

The combine is structured to mirror the pace and competitiveness of Solid State’s 4v4 format. Players will be evaluated on:

Standout participants may earn a contract for the 2026 Solid State Prep League season, joining one of the most competitive summer development environments in the region.
